SESSION ONE: 8:30 a.m. – Noon
This workshop will teach practicing print-buying professionals how to source print effectively in this very tough economy. Emphasis will be on gaining perspective on the current state of the U.S. print industry, including the many alternatives available to print buyers today. A review of the various printing processes—how they differ and which is appropriate for which project—will be part of this course. We will spend a lot of time on the current and most valuable resources for print buyers today, including web sites, events, books, online and analog publications, and thought leaders. This course is highly interactive. Participants should come with their questions for the instructor.
