Prestige-Pak Achieves Perfect Score From AIB
FOND DU LAC, WI—May 30, 2012—For the third consecutive year, Prestige-Pak Inc. has achieved a Superior Rating during annual inspection and auditing by the American Institute of Baking. The company, located here, was inspected on May 18th for Good Manufacturing Practices related to the production of food packaging materials. The facility achieved a perfect score of 1,000 points.
Prestige-Pak produces printed and laminated materials used for food packaging. AIB International conducts inspections to verify facility cleanliness and to validate food-safe production equipment and processes. The one- to two-day audit consists of a thorough plant inspection and comprehensive procedural review.
AIB International inspects 10,000 facilities annually, with only a fraction receiving a Superior Rating above 935 points. Prestige-Pak CEO Vince Kuber said that achieving a perfect audit score is a testament to the company's dedication to food safety, product excellence and customer satisfaction.
