The Phoenix Challenge Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Kaible to its Board of Directors. With more than three decades dedicated to advancing the flexographic and package printing industries, Jay brings a wealth of experience, industry insight, and proven leadership to the Foundation.
The Phoenix Challenge Foundation welcomes Jay as the organization seeks to continue its expansion across high school/vocational and collegiate education. In addition to his long history with the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), Jay spent a decade driving the package printing exhibition industry building a strong foundation in business development across numerous industry communities. from 2004, he worked to build the global FTA community, ending his tenure as Director of Membership & Business Development and, for a brief time, as interim president.
Jay played a pivotal role in strengthening FTA’s membership base, creating meaningful business partnerships, and expanding opportunities for industry professionals to connect through national and global initiatives. His efforts significantly contributed to FTA’s continued growth and impact as the leading voice of the flexographic community.
Recently winding down a successful tenured career, Jay is eager to dedicate some of his time and talent to the next generation of print and packaging professionals. “I have been looking forward to this moment,” Jay shared. “Retirement allows me to give back in a more meaningful way, and I am honored to help the Phoenix Challenge Foundation inspire and support future flexographers.”

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jay is an avid boater, skier, and traveler who treasures time with family and friends. His career reflects not only a commitment to the industry but also a passion for bringing people together—qualities that align perfectly with the Foundation’s mission to foster education and community in flexographic printing.
