Disc Graphics Adds Digital Press
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—With the recent acquisition of a Kodak NexPress S3000 with SE-Class upgrades, Disc Graphics can now provide cutting-edge digital press technology to its customers.
“The NexPress complements our present offset press capabilities, and delivers the digital solution required by many of our markets,” states Don Sinkin, CEO of Disc Graphics. “It gives us state-of-the-art capabilities like ‘5-over-5’ color printing, as well as the option to print four colors and apply coating in-line. Even more important, it enables us to offer our customers a ‘wow’ factor no other digital press can match.”
Stephen Frey, senior vice president of sales, commented, “Many clients require short print runs during the creative process, for promotional print and to minimize the risk of excess inventory for emerging products. The NexPress fulfills these requirements offering both high-quality and cost-effective short-run solutions.”
“The NexPress S3000 was the ideal choice for us for several reasons,” notes Disc Graphics’ President Margaret Krumholz. “First, it can print on a wide variety of substrates to satisfy the diverse packaging needs of our customer base; it’s also rated to print on nearly 600 substrates. Additionally, Disc Graphics is a highly eco-sensitive company, and with print consumables that are inert, the S3000 model is the most environmentally friendly of all the digital devices on the market.”
