Mimaki Plotter for Packaging Prototypes

Digital UV inkjet printing has increased the requirement for creating original customized goods, including an increase in high-mix/low-volume demands in the market.

In response, Mimaki USA, has introduced the CFL-605RT compact flatbed cutting plotters. The new model, a 20˝ by 24˝ multifunction compact flatbed cutting plotter, offers the ability to facilitate creation and delivery of high quality, cost-effective designs. The plotter supports multiple on-demand production with functions including reciprocating, tangential and eccentric cutting, plus creasing for immediate finishing of packaging and prototypes.

The CFL-605RT cutting plotter provides a rapid-response solution for production of items such as short-run or custom original goods, samples and package prototyping. This system enables designers and brand managers to achieve packaging design actualization in shorter timeframes.
