interpack 2011 is the No. 1 international trade fair for the industry, where every three years more than 2,700 exhibitors from all over the world showcase the very latest in packaging systems and machinery, packaging materials and confectionery machinery, as well as accompanying services. In 19 exhibition halls covering an area of over 2 million square feet net, a comprehensive international range of products is presented. At the show’s last staging in 2008, 179,000 visitors from 121 countries took part.
Following difficult months due to the international economic crisis, the Russian packaging industry is experiencing increased demand for innovative packaging solutions from food and beverage producers, confectionery manufacturers, and companies in the cosmetics, as well as the pharmaceuticals industry. Russia is still set to become one of the world’s biggest consumer markets and packaging manufacturers in the Russian Federation need to invest in order to meet the growing expectations of the consumers—and UPAKOVKA provides the ideal platform. In February of this year, 300 exhibitors presented their products to 21,000 industry professionals from the entire Russian Federation at UPAKOVKA (the visitor number includes attendees at the concurrently held INTERPLASTICA trade fair).
PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL is one of Southeast Asia's premier exhibitions for the packaging and printing industries, providing a unique platform for manufacturers of packaging and printing machinery, processing companies, designers and suppliers to display their products to a targeted audience. The majority of the 13,000 trade visitors came from Thailand, India, the Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.
