Hooven-Dayton Expands Capacity and Capabilities

DAYTON, Ohio—The Hooven-Dayton Corporation (HDC) announced that it has invested in a Nilpeter FB-4200 Servo Printing Press, an advanced, narrow-web, 10-color, UV and conventional flexo press with a 16-inch web width. This press increases HDC’s capabilities by providing fine tension control for unsupported films, allowing for a range of substrate thickness from very thin (0.001˝/25 micron), to very heavy (0.010˝/250 micron). It is also equipped with an automatic electronic register system and a chill roll system. The addition of this new press brings the number of flexo and digital presses at HDC to eleven. The press will be installed at the Hooven-Dayton Corporation this month.
