Gallus to Run Flexo Sleeve Seminar
FRANKFURT, Germany—Spurred on by the success of its ‘Industrial Manufacturing’ seminar focusing on the offset printing workflow in October last year, Gallus has added a seminar on flexo sleeve work flows, to be held between March 21 and 22 in its German manufacturing site close to Frankfurt.
The seminar is entitled ‘Flexo Sleeve - The Gallus S-class embedded in an efficient production workflow’, and in addition to talks by industry experts there will be a live demonstration of a packaging decoration workflow based around a Gallus EM 410/510 S press.
The press demonstration will focus on the incorporation of sleeve technology for printing cylinders and anilox rollers, which helps minimize setup and changeover times. Optimized use of automation allows sleeves to be replaced quickly without tools, while a chambered doctor blade means that ink changes can be carried out quickly and easily.
