ROCHESTER, NY—February 10, 2015—Flower City Printing, a privately-held, large-format sheetfed offset printer of in-store signage and packaging headquartered in Rochester, NY, is investing in a new specially-configured seven-color, 64˝ KBA Rapida 164 press with coater and equipped with KBA’s unique automation.
According to Flower City CEO and President William Oliveri, the new KBA will support a diverse group of high-end packaging customers with automation that can help increase capacity and shorten turnaround time.
Flower City’s new KBA Rapida 164 press is equipped with a host of unique “KBA only” features such as KBA’s dedicated drive technology, DriveTronic SIS sidelay-free infeed, and the ErgoTronic console with integrated measuring systems and large wall screen.
