DRUCKFARBEN Group Inaugurates New Production Facility in Chalcis
DRUCKFARBEN Group, a force in the fields of flexible packaging inks, architectural coatings, building materials, and energy-saving solutions, held the official blessing ceremony for its new production facility in Chalcis on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The ceremony welcomed approximately 200 guests, including local government representatives, business partners, and employees. His Eminence, Porphyrios conducted the blessing, reaffirming the Group’s longstanding bond with the local community of Evia.
The launch of the new facility marks the completion of a significant investment plan, as part of the Group’s broader transformation strategy. It reflects Druckfarben’s commitment to technological excellence, production autonomy and sustainable growth.
The new site features:
- Upgraded production infrastructure, designed to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Lower environmental footprint, enabled by advanced systems that significantly reduce CO₂ emissions.
- Fully digitalized processes, improving production processes and quality.
- High-efficiency photovoltaic system, covering more than 60% of the facility’s energy needs.
- Expanded R&D department, focused on developing next-generation, sustainable solutions.
- Dedicated production lines for eco-conscious inks, suitable for mono-material substrates and fully NC-free (nitrocellulose-free), supporting packaging solutions that promote circularity.
These investments significantly strengthen the Group’s export-oriented capabilities, which already account for over 40% of total turnover, and expand its presence across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
