Colbert Packaging Expands Technical Sales Services
CHICAGO—Colbert Packaging Corporation, a manufacturer of folding cartons, rigid paper boxes, and paperboard specialty products, announced that it has expanded its service offerings to include technical sales support services, aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of customers’ packaging, processes, and production. The services, led by Colbert’s new technical sales support manager, John Yingst, provide quick response technical support for Colbert customers throughout the packaging process, from package design to line trials to full production.
Yingst joined Colbert in February, bringing with him more than 40 years of packaging industry experience in technical sales support and quality assurance. In his new role as technical sales support manager for Colbert Packaging, Yingst will work closely with customers and suppliers, as well as Colbert’s sales, new product development, structural design, production, quality control, and customer service teams. The new technical sales support services are designed to help customers gain insight into product enhancement, performance optimization, and process improvement.

Colbert Packaging’s new technical sales support services include remote and onsite support—with 24-hour response time whenever possible—to investigate and provide assistance in quickly resolving any quality or production issues, as well as to explore opportunities for design, process, and production improvements. Customers can also expect routine visits from Yingst aimed at proactively monitoring performance and discussing new product needs and special requirements.
