PrintVision/Jupiter—Process Control Solution for Automatic Defect Detection
The AVT PrintVision/Jupiter platform is an innovative Automatic Defect Detection Solution for web printing applications. With its Advanced Automatic Inspection software module and new ergonomic design, the PrintVision/Jupiter visually inspects all kinds of printed materials on the press, including transparent and flexible substrates used in the packaging industry, and automatically detects imperfections in real time.
ProMIS for Improved Automation
With ProMIS, the PrintVision/Apollo II for quality assurance is now able to have bi-directional communication with MIS in the print production environment, receiving relevant job information from production, and sending quality information to the MIS. This sharing of information reduces set-up times, increases the level of automation, and eliminates the need to re-enter information, preventing data entry errors.
For optimal understanding of what is happening on presses and rewinders, PrintFlow Manager delivers information to everyone who needs to know. Installed on any computer, PrintFlow Manager ensures users that the data gathered from all PrintVision platforms are presented directly to print house managers and key personnel—supervisors, quality assurance managers, production managers, and others. Using its quality statistics features, managers can monitor, analyze, and control the quality of the complete production process from their desktops, improving production quality and efficiency as well as communications with customers and suppliers.
