Applications Now Open for the 2026 FFTA Scholarships
The Foundation of the Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) announces that applications are now open for the 2026 FFTA Scholarship and the Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship. Both scholarships provide a $3,000 award to support students pursuing education and career opportunities in flexography and graphic communications. These scholarships play a critical role in attracting, supporting, and preparing students to enter and strengthen the flexographic workforce.
The FFTA Scholarship is available to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have demonstrated an interest in flexography and/or graphic communications. The scholarship supports students preparing to enter the industry and helps strengthen the future workforce of flexographic printing.
The Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship honors a student who will develop and execute a flexography-focused project meant to advance flexographic printing. This scholarship encourages hands-on learning and innovation while honoring Hilliard’s lasting impact on the industry.
“Every breakthrough in flexography starts with someone willing to learn, experiment, and lead,” said Schmidt. “These scholarships empower students to take that first step, and in the case of the Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship, to honor a legacy by building something meaningful of their own.”
Applications for both scholarships must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on April 10, 2026.
