Altivity Packaging to close Missouri plant
Carol Stream, IL—Altivity Packaging, LLC announced its decision to discontinue operations at its North Kansas City, MO, folding carton plant. The facility produces folding cartons for a variety of consumer goods companies.
The decision was made after careful review of the plant’s operations, available capacity within the company’s Folding Carton and Boxboard Mill Division, current economic market conditions and strategic fit. Operations will be consolidated with other Altivity Packaging folding carton facilities within the company.
The plant’s final day of production is tentatively scheduled for December 30, 2006. A total of 111 salaried and hourly employees are affected.
