2019 Highlight: Labeltronix Rises to the Top of the Wine Label Category
Across the label and packaging spectrum, it's hard to argue that some of the most compelling designs and complexity of artwork are found on wine labels. And producing an eye-catching wine label amidst an array of competition requires precision in printing, ensuring that color and registration are dialed in and embellishments are added with an expert touch.
Such was the case in the 2019 Packaging Impressions Excellence Awards, in which Labeltronix was recognized for producing the best wine label of the competition. The flexographically printed label for Annadoll, a red wine blend from Katya Vineyards, was produced on a Nilpeter press, and featured incredibly fine details throughout the label and impeccable color reproduction, particularly in the red of the depicted woman's hair.
The label was so impressive that in addition to winning first place in the Wine and Beer Labels: Flexo (Process) category, it placed second overall in Best in Show.
