Diecutting Tool Manufacturer Wink US Joins TLMI
NEUENHAUS, GERMANY/CHARLOTTE, NC—September 28, 2012—Wink US has successfully been approved as a new supplier member of TLMI (Tag and Labels Manufacturers Institute). This is another important step in Wink’s strategy for growth in the North American market. The German supplier Wink Stanzwerkzeuge has been very successful with its premium diecutting tools.
Wink US was founded at the beginning of 2012, and has been growing continuously since then. At this year’s Labelexpo Americas in Chicago, the company exhibited for the first time in the United States. “We were overwhelmed by the positive response to our products,” says Steve Burleson, president of Wink US. “American customers do not only appreciate our first-class quality made in Germany, but also our outstanding service mentality.”
Joining TLMI was therefore only a logical decision. “We are proud to be a member of this important association,” adds Detlef Geske, Wink’s international sales director. “We are looking forward to active participation, knowledge transfer, and of course, new business contacts.”
Wink’s TLMI membership complements the company’s affiliations to other national and international label associations, including FINAT, VskE (Germany), UNFEA (France), GIPEA (Italy), ANFEC (Spain) and DLA (Denmark).
